STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ) - On Thursday, the trial for murder suspect Brian Cooper was postponed from January 28 to April 8.
Defense attorney Shane Brabazon told a Door County judge they need more time to receive and review the evidence in the case.
Cooper is accused of murdering Alisha Bromfield at a Door County resort back in August, after she wanted to break off their relationship. Bromfield was also pregnant at the time.
A change of venue motion will be heard December 21, according to online court records.
