The actress was left without power at her house in Connecticut for more than a week after high winds brought down a number of trees and cut off cables outside the property last Monday (29Oct12).

Hart and her family spent several days in the dark, with only a temporary generator powering their home, but she is now celebrating after the electricity supply was restored on Monday (05Nov12).

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, ""We finally got power back! Came home to find lights and heat and a fridge running and hot water! Never take 4 (sic) granted again. Sandy sucks.""
