We're down to the final four in seven divisions of the WIAA State Football Playoffs. Here's where the area teams are playing as they hope to reach the championship games next week at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. In Division 3, West De Pere faces Waupaca Friday night at 7:00 PM at Kimberly High School. (Pre-Game coverage at 6:50 PM on 1440, WNFL) These teams have won 4 of the past 6 state titles in the division. West De Pere is seeking it's 4th straight trip to the title game and third state championship. Both teams are 11-0, West De Pere has won 39 consecutive games. In Division 4, Freedom meets top ranked Walworth Big Foot at West Bend Friday night at 7:00 PM. The Irish under coach Clint Kriewaldt, have pulled off three straight upsets as a number 8 seed and are seeking their first trip to the state title game. In Division 5, Brillion meets Lancaster in Middleton Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM. The Lions have won four state championships, the most recent in 2010 while Lancaster has six titles to their credit and reached the championship game last year, falling to Colby 44-43 in overtime. In Division 6, defending champion Fon du lac St. Mary's Springs takes on Iowa-Grant in Middleton at 4:30 PM. In Division 7, Hilbert plays Glenwood City at D.C. Everest Saturday afternoon at 12:30 PM. The Wolves are vying for their 8th trip to the title game, having won championships in 1989, 1994 and 1996, finishing runnerup four times, most recently in 2008.
