SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ) - Eleven charges have been filed against a Gillett woman for allegedly stealing almost $300,000 from Reinhart Foods in Shawano.

Barbara Wawrzyn was the credit manager for the company, according to the criminal complaint. The alleged thefts took place between December 2009 and October 2010. A company audit found that a total of $290,994.16 was missing. 

Wawrzyn cited a number of reasons for delayed deposits, including claims that the money had been stolen from her car.

If convicted, she faces a maximum of 116 years in prison. Her initial court appearance is scheduled for November 19.
