MENOMONIE, WI (WTAQ) - UW-Stout officials said a dog was chasing a deer, when the deer busted through a window.
It happened late Wednesday afternoon at the Vocational Rehabilitation Building on the Menomonie campus.
Officials said the animal left a trail of blood on the floor – and it then left building from a set of automatic doors.
Investigators tracked the blood trail through the campus – but the trail ended at some point, and the deer could not be found.
It caused around $5,500 damage to the rehab building.
