LA CROSSE, WI (WSAU) -  Pope Benedict the sixteenth has named Sparta native Monsignor Robert Herman Flock as the Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Cochabamba in Bolivia. The 56-year-old Flock left Wisconsin for Bolivia in 1988 after serving as the pastor of St. Stephen Parish in Chili. Before that, Flock was an associate pastor at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Marshfield. He also was an instructor at Marshfield Columbus High School. The Archdiocese of Cochabamba covers over 32,000 square miles and serves over one-point-five million Catholics.
