PHOENIX (WTAQ) - The Milwaukee Brewers blew a 3-1 lead in the sixth inning and suffered yet another disappointing loss.

Sunday’s 4-3 defeat means the injury-riddled Brewers have dropped 4 straight series.

The Arizona Diamondbacks got two-out, run-scoring hits from Jason Kubel, Ryan Roberts and Henry Blanco to take the lead for good. Paul Goldschmidt had hit a home run in the 4th.

Nyjer Morgan’s hesitation on a grounder that turned into a double play was the biggest defensive play of the game for the D'Backs.

Cody Ransom and Corey Hart knocked in Milwaukee’s first two runs. They scored a third run in the 6th on Taylor Green’s double. Jose Veras took the loss for Milwaukee.

The Brewers put another player on the disabled list after infielder Travis Ishikawa suffered an oblique strain.

The Brewers start a four-game series in Los Angeles on Memorial Day, with Shaun Marcum pitching against the Dodgers’ Aaron Harang.
