PHOENIX (WTAQ) - After giving up just one run in his last three starts, Arizona touched up Brewers starter Zack Greinke for seven runs on 10 hits in less than 3 innings.

The Diamondbacks’ 8-5 victory was only their 3rd win at home in the last 13 tries.

John McDonald’s three-run homer was the big blast for Arizona. Gerardo Parra was 4-for-4 for the D'Backs. He also wowed the crowd with a good catch on a deep fly by Milwaukee’s Norichika Aoki in the 9th inning.

Milwaukee had capitalized on an error to go ahead 5-2 in the 3rd inning. Greinke couldn’t hold it, walking in a run and allowing a second on a fielder’s choice before McDonald knocked it out of the park.

Winning pitcher Wade Miley not only picked up his 6th victory, he also singled to extend his hitting streak to 7 games – an Arizona record for a pitcher.
