MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) - The S.S. Badger car ferry is reportedly having some problems docking in Manitowoc on its maiden voyage for the season.  The coal burning powered ferry apparently got stuck and is sitting perpendicular from the dock because of high winds.  The large boat doesn’t have bow thrusters to help maneuver around a corner.  A tugboat has been called in to help the ship.  The car ferry left Ludington, MI at 9 a.m. and supposed to dock in Manitowoc around noon.
