The UW Green Bay womens basketball program has hired former player Heather Golden as director of basketball operations for new head coach Kevin Borseth.  Golden, a former De Pere high school standout, played in 95 games for the Phoenix between 2007-2011, starting 27.  She had a series of knee injuries during her career that required five surgeries.  She dressed for her senior season but had to give up the game.  Golden worked last year on the game day staff.  She will be responsible for a lot of the clerical duties for the team, setting up travel, hotels, meals and coordinating things for the coaching staff and players.
