TOWN OF FRIENDSHIP, WI (WTAQ) - A report of a baby calf on the loose leads Fond du Lac Sheriff’s to a farm home where they found over 65 dogs and goats inside, some of them dead. A ten-year-old boy answered the door late Wednesday night in the Town of Friendship and a deputy saw a dead goat inside. After a search warrant was awarded Thursday morning, several dead goats and dogs were found. Some of the dogs removed have been euthanized, because they were in various stages of starvation. More are likely to be put down. The boy, who was all alone in the home at the time he answered the door, has been turned over to child social services in Fond du Lac. Charges of animal neglect are expected for the owner.
