CLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ) - Clintonville police say several reports of booming and homes shaking were reported overnight again.
Police say residents called in 3 reports from Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Two calls came into the dispatch center before 9 p.m. Saturday and one call came in just after midnight Sunday morning.
Residents reported hearing booming noises and some reported feeling their homes shake. Geological experts say loud noises and shaking are common after earthquakes.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a magnitude 1.5 earthquake struck Clintonville on Tuesday. City officials say there is no immediate danger to the public.
Meantime, Clintonville Mayor Judy Magee says she plans to order T-shirts saying, “I survived the 1.5.” City officials say the T-shirts are intended to show unity and not to make fun of the situation which left some residents concerned.
