The Forgetting Sarah Marshall funnyman filed for divorce from singer Katy Perry in late December (11) after just 14 months of marriage, citing ""irreconcilable differences"".

He has been spotted several times with a pretty brunette, and now she's been named as model Barabas, who has just been cast alongside Vinnie Jones and Michael Madsen in thriller movie Magic Boys.

And the couple already appears to be stepping up its romance - Brand took Barabas to lunch with his mum to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday (18Mar12).

It comes as a welcome respite for Brand, who was charged with smashing a paparazzo's cell phone in New Orleans, Louisiana last week. He is currently free on bail.
