MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A job fair will be held on the Internet Wednesday for Wisconsin veterans and active military personnel.
Governor Scott Walker says it will let veterans create their personal profiles, research companies, visit virtual employer booths, chat live with recruiters, and apply for jobs.
There’s also an online lounge where veterans and military spouses can meet each other.
Walker says the employers in Wednesday’s job fair have over 14,000 positions available. The state Veterans’ Affairs Department and Milicruit are organizing the online job fair.
To take part, veterans will need to register at the following Web address – VeteransCareerFair.Com. Milicruit runs the Web site, and the registration is open right now.
