GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay police are investigating after a woman was hurt in a hit-and-run crash Friday.
Police say it happened on Manitowoc Road near Bader Street around 6:30 p.m.
Authorities say the incident started when two women had an argument. A 23-year-old Keshena woman left the scene on foot.
The other woman got into her car and began driving recklessly. Officials say the 23-year-old Green Bay woman intentionally hit the victim and drove away from the scene.
There were no witnesses to the crash, but authorities say a bystander saw the car speeding away and got a license plate number.
Police located the car unoccupied about a mile away from the scene. The suspect was taken into custody within an hour of the crash.
Green Bay police are seeking first-degree reckless injury charges. The victim is hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
