Day one of the B.A.S.S. Masters Elite fishing tournament on the Bay of Green Bay has Aaron Martens in the lead, his first day catch totaled and even 20 pounds. Most of the pros, vying for the $100,000.00 first prize traveled from the mouth of the Fox River to Little Sturgeon to spend the day in Door County. Dean Rojas is in second place with Todd Faircloth, the winner at last week's tourney in LaCrosse, in third place. Local favorite, Travis Manson of De Pere, is in 18th place. The largest fish taken on the opening day was a five pounder reeled in by Morizo Shimizu. The tournament runs through Sunday with daily weigh-ins at the Green Bay Metro Boat launch at 3:15 PM.
