The National Football League announced Thursday it is changing the start times for nationally televised Sunday doubleheader games from 3:15 PM to 3:25 PM. Too many of the Noon games ran long last year with CBS and Fox switching to the doubleheader games before they had concluded. The league says the extra ten minutes will allow for the conclusion of non-overtime early games in time for the doubleheader contests. The Packers have two games moving to 3:25 PM, the season opener at Lambeau Field against the San Francisco 49ers on September 9 and the September 30 game against the New Orleans Saints, also at home.
