The Milwaukee Brewers saved a little face by beating the Reds in Cincinnati Wednesday afternoon 8-4 to salvage the final game of the series at the Great American Ballpark. Milwaukee remains seven and a half games behind the Reds, in fourth place in the National League Central Division. The offense was spiced by two run home runs from Rickie Weeks and Cody Ransom and Milwaukee tacked on three more runs in the top of the 9th, finishing with 11 hits on the day. That was more than enough support for Zack Greinke who worked six innings, allowing five hits and two runs for his 9th victory in 11 decisions. Greinke is now 4-0 lifetime against the Reds. Homer Bailey took the loss and has yet to beat the Brewers in his career, now 0-5. Milwaukee (34-41) will be off Thursday before opening a homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Miller Park Friday night.
