The Green Bay Blizzard defeated the Bloomington Edge 51-30 to open the IFL post-season Saturday night at the Brown County Arena. La'Ron Council carried 21 times for 102 yards and a touchdown in the victory, his 5th 100 yard rushing game of the season. His one yard TD capped an 8 play, five minute drive in the 4th quarter that put the Blizzard on top 44-30. James Romain capped the victory with a 41 yard interception return for a score in the final minute. Green Bay, the number two seed in the United Conference, improves to 12-3 on the season. Two of their three losses came to the Sioux Falls Storm, their opponent in the conference final this weekend. Sioux Falls stayed undefeated (15-0) by routing Lehigh Valley 79-21 Saturday night.
