PIERCE COUNTY, Wis. (WHBL) - The Pierce County Sheriff’s office reports the body of a Bay City man has been recovered a week after he fell into Lake Pepin. Thirty-eight year old Troy Goehrs was in a boat with his wife Brenda east of Bay City last Saturday. Brenda Goehrs told deputies her husband fell overboard that day and she jumped into the lake after him. She said she swam to shore for help after her husband didn’t resurface. His body was recovered yesterday afternoon from the Lake Pepin shore near Maiden Rock.
