GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - 97.5/1360 News Talk WTAQ has won a 2012 National Edward R. Murrow Award.

On Tuesday, the Radio Television Digital News Association announced that WTAQ won for Best Audio Newscast in the Small Market Radio division. The awards honor excellence in electronic journalism.

Earlier this year WTAQ won the regional award for Best Audio Newscast, qualifying for the nationals. WTAQ won a second regional award in 2012, for Best Audio News Series.

The region covers Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
