GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A Green Bay boy was injured after being hit by a van Saturday.

Authorities say it happened in the 1600 block of South Ridge Road just after 3:30 p.m..

Officials say a 26-year-old female was driving the van that hit the 5-year-old boy.  They say there was a vehicle legally parked in front of the van.

The boy darted out from the area of the parked vehicle and was hit. Authorities say the boy suffered leg and head injuries.

His condition is unknown. The investigation continues.
