Reward grows for information on damaged Fond du Lac memorial

A memorial honoring fallen public servants has been vandalized in Fond du Lac. The 900 pound granite slab was toppled off its base this past weekend. The firefighters tablet was the one that was damaged.
A memorial honoring fallen public servants has been vandalized in Fond du Lac. The 900 pound granite slab was toppled off its base this past weekend. The firefighters tablet was the one that was damaged.

FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - A reward has grown to $1,250 for information about the persons who damaged a firefighters’ memorial in Fond du Lac.

A 900-pound tablet was taken off its base the previous weekend at Hamilton Park.

Fond du Lac Police said the reward will be given for information leading to an arrest.

The reward was $100 when it was first offered.
