Now, the director/screenwriter, who worked with Hemsley on a 2011 episode of his hit TV show Tyler Perry's House of Payne, has added his own thoughts about his pal's passing - in video form.

Perry has compiled a montage of clips of Hemsley and posted the footage to his account on the sharing website. The accompanying caption reads, ""We'll miss you so much Sherman. May you rest in peace.""
