REEDSBURG, WI (WTAQ) - Reedsburg police are calling the death of a man and his girlfriend a murder-suicide.

It happened Friday night. Investigators think 24 year old George R. Snake shot 23 year old Cheyenne T. Fiddler to death, then killed himself.

Fiddler was from Red Wing, Minnesota.

The bodies were discovered by a friend who entered the home at about 7 p.m. The two had been dating and Fiddler had moved into the Reedsburg home recently.

Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the shooting, which apparently happened after an argument between the two.
