GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay police have arrested a woman for allegedly leaving her 10-week-old baby locked inside a hot vehicle Friday.
Cops get the call to the west side Walmart store around 7:15 p.m.
Officers say the vehicle's windows were rolled up and the doors were locked at the time.
According to officials, the child in the vehicle was not moving. Officers feared the baby was not breathing and were forced to break a window to get the child out.
The child was taken to a local hospital where it was treated and released to another family member.
The child's 24-year-old mother was arrested and taken to the Brown County County jail on charges of child neglect.On Thursday, a man was arrested for child neglect after leaving three toddlers in a locked truck around 11 a.m. at the Target in Bellevue.
