GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) - A brand new Italian restaurant in the Fox Valley had to be evacuated after a kitchen fire Thursday.
Crews were called to Buca di Beppo on North Casaloma Drive in Grand Chute just after 7:30 p.m.
When they arrived, firefighters say there was heavy smoke coming from the back of the building. Officials say the blaze was in a wall in the kitchen.
Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion, and one employee was treated on the scene for being exposed to dry chemical agent from a fire extinguisher.
It's not known what caused the fire or how much damage was done. No word when the restaurant plans to reopen.
Buca di Beppo had its grand opening just last week.
