MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation says it will select up to 25 state-based companies to present to a Chinese fund. PiYi Investment Management Company reportedly wants to invest 100 million dollars in Wisconsin companies across a wide variety of industries. The application deadline is July 18, then the state will screen the applicants to pick the best candidates for Chinese investment. The companies chosen will make their presentations during U.S.-China Investor Week, a 10-day visit by officials with the Chinese firm.
