GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A former defensive lineman who was on the Packers 2010 practice squad has put his Super Bowl XLV ring up for auction. Jay Ross was a high school graduate picked up mid-way through the 2010 season, and was let go by the Packers before the 2011 season. Ross is now with the Buffalo Bills. Ross’s ring is being auction off through Heritage Auctions. Bidding is scheduled to begin July 14th. Back in January, a female Lambeau Atrium staff member sold her Super Bowl XLV ring to Pawn America in Grand Chute. It didn’t make headlines until May, and was quickly bought by a Neenah man.
