GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - The former pastor of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walker was sentenced yesterday to 12 months in jail and a lifetime on the state’s Sex Offender Registry. Tedd Butler admitted molesting a then-five-year-old boy at his TallmadgeTownship home in 2006, and pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct charges in both Ottawa and Kent counties. He awaits a sentencing next Tuesday in Kent County for separate acts committed more than two decades ago when Butler was a youth pastor at another now-disbanded church.
