APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - A teacher from Appleton is one of 15 to compete in the “Jeopardy Teachers’ Tournament.”
Elissa Hoffman of Appleton East High School will appear with Alex Trebek on the nationally-syndicated game show next month.
She’ll head off to Hollywood next week, when the competition will be taped. You can see how Hoffman does when the tournament is broadcast between February 15th and 28th.
The “Teachers Tournament” was introduced last year, to highlight the nation’s brightest kindergarten through 12th grade instructors.
The winner gets $100,000, plus a spot in Jeopardy’s annual “Tournament of Champions.”
