The Marquette Golden Eagles celebrated Al McGuire night at the Bradley Center Tuesday night by routing St. John's 83-64. The 24th ranked Golden Eagles struggled with foul trouble in the first half and actually trailed by a point, 32-31 at intermission. A 52 point explosion over the final 20 minutes got Marquette back to even in the Big East conference at 2-2. Davonte Gardner had the big game with 20 points and 15 rebounds, Darius Johnson-Odom added 20 for the Golden Eagles who improved to 13-4 overall on the season.
