OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - Two men accused of a hate crime in Oshkosh on Christmas Day will stand trial.

In Winnebago County court Thursday, Lyall Ziebell and Jacob Immel-Rhode waived their preliminary hearings.

Police say Ziebell and Immel-Rhode beat a man outside a bar early on Christmas Day. The victim told authorities he was attacked because he is gay, and suffered a broken jaw and a brain injury.

Ziebell didn't enter pleas and is due back in court next week.

Immel-Rhode entered not guilty pleas to all counts. He is schedule to return to court February 10.
