APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Appleton Police say Pao Vang, a dangerous parolee who cut off his  electronic monitoring bracelet, is now in custody. 

Police and state corrections officials say the 34 year old Vang was placed in transitional housing Monday after being released from prison. 

He later escaped.

He'd been convicted on multiple counts of sexual assault.
