The WIsconsin Badgers had to shake off a tough, one point loss at Iowa last week by traveling to Columbus to take on 9th ranked Ohio State on Sunday. The 15th ranked Badgers pulled off the surprise in one of the most satisfying wins of the season, 63-60. Trailing almost the entire second half, Wisconsin rallied for the lead on Jared Berggren's three point shot from the left wing with under :40 to play. After an Ohio State miss, Berggren pulled down the rebound and was fouled and iced the game with 2 free throws. Berggren finished with 18 points and Jordan Taylor led the Badgers with 19. Wisconsin held Jared Sullinger to just 8. The Badgers improved to 21-8 on the season and 10-6 in the Big Ten, good for fourth place but just one game behind the Buckeyes and Michigan for second. Wisconsin will host Minnesota at the Kohl Center on Tuesday night.
The Wisconsin women snapped a six game losing streak by beating Illinois at the Kohl Center Sunday 72-60. The Badger women are 9-19, 5-11 in the Big Ten.
