DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) - De Pere police are closing their investigation into the Bay family triple murder suicide.  Police say the couple had been going through a divorce, Denis Bay was unemployed from a job he had worked at for over a decade, and his wife Michele was going to kick him out of the home that day.  Wife Michele arranged for the kids to be let out of school early that Friday so they could say good bye to their father.  Just before picking up the kids, at around 2:15 p.m. Denis did his normal routine of stopping at a local gas station to pick up a cigar and soda.  During that time Denis was gone, between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m., Michele called her sister to tell her she was kicking out Denis.  De Pere Police Derik Beiderwieden says Michele’s sister was concerned for her safety and some put in the conversation Michele assured her sister that a firearm or ammunition to a.45 caliber handgun she had given Denis in 2008 was hidden.  Michele was already home, when Denis arrived with the kids sometime after the phone call to her sister.  At 2:57 p.m. Denis called 911 to say he just shot his family and then committed suicide over the phone.
