The Green Bay Gamblers continue their assault toward another Anderson Cup as the USHL's top team in the regular season. Green Bay swept a home and home series with the Chicago Steel, winning 3-2 on the road Sunday afternoon. Defenseman Andrew Welinksi scored a pair of goals including the game winner with :34 to play. Green Bay blanked Chicago 1-0 at the Resch Center on Saturday night before a season high crowd of more than 7500. The 13th annual Teddy Bear toss night produced another record with nearly 8000 bears tossed onto the ice after the Gamblers first goal. The only glitch, the goal was disallowed late in the first period but the organization didn't mind the 15 minute delay gathering up the bears which will be distributed to children in area hospitals over the next several weeks. With the victories, Green Bay maintained it's 11 point lead on second place Indiana with a 32-7-2 record.
