WISCONSIN DELLS, WI (WTAQ) - A chef from Wisconsin Dells received the top honors at the Wisconsin Pork Association's recent Taste of Elegance.
Miles Breed of the Great Karoo won the competition over 7 other chefs from the Badger State. His dish was a Ginger Braised Pork with a Pork Rillette Crepinette.
Judges sampled the dishes -- and the food was then served to over 1,000 people attending the 24th annual Taste of Elegance banquet at the Kalahari Resort in the Dells.
Breed was named the "Chef Par Excellence." He received a cash award, plus a weekend at the Culinary Institute of America's Greystone campus in Saint Helena California.
