MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The new snow will certainly have snowmobile clubs scampering to get trails ready – and the timing is perfect for the state DNR to host an online chat Friday about snowmobile safety.
Safety administrator Gary Eddy and snowmobile grant manager Diane Conklin will answer questions starting at 11:30 a.m.
If you want to take part, you’ll have to register by going to the DNR’s Web site and put the phrase “Ask the Experts” in the search box.
The snowmobile season never got going last winter in much of Wisconsin, due to a lack of snow. But that will change this winter, after much of the southern half of the state got 11 to 20 inches of snow Wednesday night and Thursday.
