Former Wisconsin football coach Brett Bielema, now the head coach at the University of Arkansas, is taking a couple of Badger staff members with him to Fayatteville. Bielema has hired defensive coordinator Chris Ash to take on the same role with the Razorbacks. Ash however, will stay with the Badger program through the Rose Bowl against Stanford on New Years Day. In addition to Ash, on-campus recruiting coordinator Chris Hauser and director of football operations Mark Taurisani are reportedly joining Bielema's staff. Several other coaches are considering offers at other schools but they're committed to staying at Wisconsin through the bowl game. Athletic Director Barry Alvarez will coach the team in Pasadena and on Tuesday, the UW Board of Regents approved a one month salary adjustment for Alvarez who will continue the search process for Bielema's successor. Alvarez will make an additional $118, 500.00 dollars in December. One last note from Madison, senior running back Montee Ball was named to the Associated Press All American first team on Tuesday, making it back to back years for Ball. He's the first Wisconsin player named to the first team in successive years since Dave Schreiner in 1941 and 1942.
