OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - A woman convicted of selling fake Facebook stock will have to pay about $276,000 to her victims.
Marianne Oleson was found guilty of scamming family, friends and acquaintances out of tens of thousands of dollars. In addition to that Oleson is currently serving a seven year prison term.
The money is going to be split among three of the people Oleson scammed. The money will not be split completely evenly. One victim will get about $13,000. Another will get $234,000. And a third victim will get a little more than $29,000.
Once Oleson gets out of prison, she will be put on a plan to start paying the money back.
But more than just three people were scammed by Oleson. Some have already been paid back. Others requested later court dates to find out how much they'll receive.
