The Shakespeare in Love beauty and avid cook joined her pal for an upcoming episode of Jamie and Jimmy's Food Fight Club and gamely agreed to take part in the wacky task, boarding a ride in the coastal resort of Southend, England.

Paltrow managed to wolf down a burger, fries and milkshake during the shoot but Oliver admits he wasn't so keen on tackling the challenge himself.

He tells Britain's The Mirror newspaper, ""It's quite a frightening ­rollercoaster, and for me it was horrific - there was food flying everywhere.

""Gwyneth told me she trusted me, so I probably pushed our friendship about as far as it could go. I think she had a really good time... She was very graceful, an amazing foodie and a good, good cook.""

Paltrow features on the first episode of Jamie and Jimmy's Food Fight Club, which is due to premiere in the U.K. on 6 December (12).
