KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ) - Fox Valley Metro police have arrested three teens in connection with several car break-ins in the Kimberly and Combined Locks area.
Officer Scott Van Schyndel says a person who lives on Jeffrey Street in Combined Locks spotted three teens with backpacks going into cars. The teens were caught around 4 a.m Friday after a traffic stop.
Authorities say items have been reported stolen over the last two weeks in several Fox Valley communities. People in the area are reminded to lock their doors and windows to their vehicles at night. You should also bring your valuables, such as purses and wallets, inside.
Van Schyndel says they are now in the process of notifying residents of some of the stolen items that have been recovered. He says the teens were released Friday morning but could face charges in Outagamie County.
Anyone with information about the break-ins should call the Fox Valley Metro Police Department at (920) 788-7505.
