WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) - A Vietnam soldier with ties to northeast Wisconsin will soon be home after over 40 years overseas.

Army Sgt. 1st Class William Brown, along with two other soldiers, went missing during a Special Forces reconnaissance patrol near the Vietnam-Laos border in 1969.

But it wasn't until recently that the soldiers' remains were officially identified.

Thursday, the group will be buried together at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
