Kyle Kendrick shut down the Milwaukee Brewers on three hits through eight innings while striking out seven as the Philadelphia Phillies blanked Milwaukee 8-0 on Sunday at Miller Park. The Phils put up two runs in the second and added three more in the third against Randy Wolf who fell to 3-10 on the season. Wolf lasted seven innings, allowing five runs on 10 hits as his earned run average climbed to 5.69. Nyjer Morgan had two of the five Brewer hits on the day. Domonic Brown led the Philadelphia attack, going three for four with four runs batted in. Michael Martinez added a two run homer. Milwaukee (54-66) resumes the homestand with the Chicago Cubs coming to town. Mark Rogers will work the series opener Monday night.
