TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ) - It appears that a couple will achieve its goal of swimming 50 miles across Lake Michigan.

Jeff and Sara Tow left Two Rivers Tuesday morning – and according to their Facebook page, they had 33 miles down as of early Wednesday.

The Tows are from Grand Rapids Michigan. They suffered post-partum depression after their two kids were born – and the purpose of their swim is to call attention to the disorder.

The couple expects to complete its trip Wednesday afternoon or evening at Ludington State Park in western Michigan.
