OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - One of the men accused of beating a man outside of an Oshkosh bar last Christmas Day has pled no contest.
Lyall Ziebell entered that plea in Winnebago County Circuit Court Monday.
The victim told police he was attacked because he is gay.
Ziebell will be sentenced on the charge of aggravated battery, plus the hate crime enhancer on September 5.
That same day Ziebell's co-defendant, Jake Immel-Rhode, will also be sentenced.
