MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTAQ) - The mother of a Fox Valley boy says he's healing from the inside out, all the way down to his bones.

Trisha Knuth says in her online journal that Charlie's skin is now satin smooth, like a newborn baby.

Knuth says Charlie's stomach pain is gone, along with his fever, and he's smiling and laughing again.

Charlie Knuth is recovering from a second stem cell transplant to treat a rare skin disease that causes painful blisters.

Trisha says it's a miracle that his insides are beginning to recover.
