After sweeping the Houston Astros last week at Miller Park, the Milwaukee Brewers got the back side of the broom at Busch Stadium over the weekend. The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Brewers 3-0 Sunday night to sweep the three game series. Kyle Lohse (12-2) and three relievers combined on a six hit shutout. David Desclaso went three for four with an RBI triple for St. Louis. Allen Craig drove home a run in the 7th with a double and David Freese singled home Carlos Beltran in the 8th. Marco Estrada worked 6 innings, allowing just a run on 7 hits but fell to 0-5 on the season. Estrada is winless in his last 13 starts. The Brewers left nine runners stranded managing only 4 singles and 2 doubles on the night. Milwaukee has lost nine straight road games and falls to 48-59 on the season. The Brewers return home to Miller Park to host the division leading Cincinnati Reds Monday night.
