GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Green Bay are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery early Sunday.

Police say it happened in the 1200 block of Stuart Street around 12:30 a.m.

Cops say the suspect hit the victim in the head with a small-caliber handgun. The suspect then ran from the scene.

Police say the victim was treated at a hospital and then released.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
